Job Description for Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) Engineer (f/m/d) [all levels]

Your Role:

• Automation of Machine Learning training and test pipelines

• Implementation of traceability concepts between data and Machine Learning models

• Deployment of Machine Learning training and test runs on local workstations, local cluster, or cloud solutions

• Configure web-based dashboard for tracking and monitoring of the entire ML development lifecycle (data management, training progress, model version control, etc)

• Working in an Agile SW development team (SCRUM)

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field, or similar qualification

• Practical experience with setting up and managing Machine Learning training and data pipelines in production

• Solid knowledge in at least a few of the following tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, Mesos, SLURM, MLFlow, Metaflow

• Strong software development skills in Python. You have a passion for clean, well-tested, and documented code.

• Fluent in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills & good interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Practical experience with Linux, version control systems (Git), build systems (Make, CMake, Autotools) and code review tools (Gerrit, Gitlab, Bitbucket)

• Knowledge in C/C++, JavaScript
